Tomorrow, we hope to find out more news regarding our case in Ethiopia. We do know that the birthparent interviews went well with the judge. There is now an extra letter needed and our attorney in Ethiopia is already working on it. We’ll definitely keep everyone posted. We have no time frame at this point about how long it will take to get this letter, but we do know that it is not just us. Other families that passed court last week were also told that they now need this letter…so it seems to be a change across the board with all adoptions. Myer has been home for 4 weeks now. The time is flying. He was a trooper throughout our Thanksgiving travels and is now recovering from a cold that he caught over the long weekend.
Here are some pics from our Smoky Mountain Bailey Family Thanksgiving.
On the way home we stopped by my parents’ house in Kentucky. Myer got to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Beldon, meet his Uncle Derrick and Aunt Beth and Great Aunt Jeanette and Great Uncle Joe.
